Red, White and Blue BBQ, August 6th |

The festivities started very early the morning of the 6th with the aromas of a fresh pig being roasted. Then around 2 pm all the Sumter County Chamber of Commerce volunteers started their tasks of decorating in what else RED, WHITE, & BLUE! They transformed our pool deck, screen room and dining room into a beautiful setting so that later in the evening we could honor our local heroes. In the mean time, the Inn on the Green Staff worked franticly to make sure everything was perfect. But God decided to clean house and move some furniture, so everyone was getting a bit concerned. With some strong persuasion, He decided to post pone his plans. Next The Dan Story Band showed up and entertained everyone with their terrific country music. We all enjoyed the BBQ and entertainment! |

Philly Hoagie Night, July 20th |
| "Philly Hoagie Night" was a first in a series of "regional parties" that will be occurring here at Continental. With a cost of $6/pp and a large selection of food, where could one go to have a great meal along with some fabulous music from resident Karaoke Ken. After playing Pennsylvania Trivia and having several people walk away with some great prizes, our residents got up to do some dancing. |

With all the positive comments from our guests, everyone was asking when the next regional party will be. Stay tuned for the "New England Night" will occur sometime in the winter. Hopefully you will be able to join us.
